Understanding the importance of learning through PLAY.

I have known Domonique for over 10 years as we have worked together in her role as a Care Manager with youth with intensive mental and behavioral health needs and their families. Domonique has very strong skills of assessment, care, discharge planning and rapport building. She is a systems thinker and can be counted on to raise appropriate issues for quality care for those that she serve. She has natural leadership skills. She is also able to identify social issues that affect the lives of youth, families and colleagues and negotiate systems for change.

I have worked with Dominique as the case manager with several different clients as behavioral health provider and I am happy to say that she has always proven to be professional, diligent, and caring in every interaction I have had with her. She is as competent and sought after a care manager as she is a game developer.

I had the pleasure of playing a game that Dominique created and developed with some of my clients while teaching them social skills. The game helped them to cope with challenges while maintaining their composure and being gracious to other players. It was a well thought out, fun game to play, and it has been thoroughly enjoyed by some very tough crowds.

Dominique is not only incredible outgoing, but also incredibly talented. She excels at everything she does, from working with children and families to creating her own innovative board game. I would recommend her for any position, but especially one in which she is able to use her incredible personality, go-getter attitude and desire to grow and achieve.

Throughout my course I challenge my students in many aspects of digital leadership. It is very hands on as I want them to learn the platform first hand and embrace the technology. Domonique excelled in every scenario and was the top performing student in her class. During the course, she built and executed a digital strategy that grew her business. What was most impressive was how quickly she grasp the technology and understood how the platform could be leveraged to reach her business objectives.

During her time at Yale School, I witnessed Ms. Elliott’s remarkable ability to develop positive relationships with all of her students and quickly adapt to the environment. Ms. Elliott also showed that she has the ability to build and put to use relationships with colleagues. One of the ways she showed this was by being a committee leader at Yale, where she proved her great leadership abilities and helped to brainstorm essential ideas in order to meet the needs of the students we served. Ms. Elliott has also developed her skills in many practical ways. She’s created numerous individualized assessments for her students. She, on numerous occasions’ differentiated instruction to meet the needs of her students. She also found an abundance of ways to inspire her students to work there potential. Ms. Elliott will not only meet your expectations, but will exceed them.

I have become acquainted with Domonique through her enrollment as a student in the Families, Schools and Community class at Stockton University. As a member of the class, Domonique’s contributions are notable. She has a strong handle on the educational and emotional needs of today’s exceptional learners on both spectrums of the scale as well as the students in-between. She brings with her a considerable amount of experience as the result of her experiences as a teacher’s aide, tutor and as a teacher’s assistance in a variety of settings. In addition to her classroom experience, Domonique possesses many technical and communications skills which will serve her well in the position for which she is seeking.

In my opinion, Domonique will prove to be an asset to both your organization and the students which you serve.
